Athlete Assessments Scoreboard: 5 Minutes with Bo Hanson
Recently we started counting how many sports we have been involved in and were surprised to get to 41. In sport everyone keeps score, so here’s our scoreboard so far. We are proud of our contribution to sport and are constantly inspired by what our clients achieve. In elite sport, every team has quality equipment, strong conditioning programs and competitive strategies. The only true advantage is gained by investing in your people. Equipment doesn’t win championships. People do. If you are interested in more information on the Athlete Assessments Scoreboard, you can find it here.
Recently at Athlete Assessments, we started thinking about our clients and thinking about their scoreboard. We were looking at our clients that were highly successful – winning national championships, winning international championships and athletes who were being selected on their Olympic teams. We wondered, where’s our scoreboard?
We started looking at what are the measurable results that we have achieved over this last eight years of being in business? We started to put together our scoreboard and in this slide that you’re about to see is what our scoreboard looks like.
Some key factors first. The numbers stand out to me the most is the fact that we’ve profiled more than 22000 athletes, coaches and sports officials. That is more than any other company in the world specifically dealing with a unique sporting population. No one has more information on what makes a coach or an athlete successful from a behavioural point of view. That’s a key one.
The other statistic, we work with more than 100 Division 1 college’s in the USA. We work with every single sporting code in Australia. There’s five of them. In Australia, we love football. Five football codes, we work with every single one of them in their high performance coach division.
As well as this, we’ve got more than 1600 clients from a range of 41 different sports. So when we put our scoreboard together we’re proud of those numbers. Ultimately, sticking to our philosophy of developing a better coach-athlete relationship, driving self-awareness and driving understanding. It’s these key factor that have helped us to help so many other people.
