How it all works…

For Athletes
Athletes can take the Athlete Assessments profile in two ways. They can initiate it themselves, as an individual athlete, by clicking on ‘Take the Assessment Now’ and this takes them directly to the online questionnaire. Otherwise, their Coach may invite them to take the assessment (see below for more details) and they will receive an email with a web link which when clicked, takes them to the online questionnaire. The questionnaire has 30 questions, takes about 7 minutes and once completed, provides the athlete with their own log in and personalized Athlete Home Page. From here the athlete can access their Athlete DISC Behavioral Assessment profile report. It reveals their preferred styles of behaving, motivation and communication preferences, strategies to capitalize on their personal strengths and recommendations to address development opportunities. An optional capability is that the athlete can invite others (i.e. their coach, team members and others – we call them ‘observers’) to answer a survey about them, as they see them. (All the athlete needs is the observer’s name and email address and our system does the rest). This provides a full 360° review and direct feedback to their behavior in the sporting environment.

For Coaches
You can set up your own Coach account by clicking on ‘Sign up for multiple Assessments” which provides you with your own log in and personalized Coach Home Page to Athlete Assessments. Through your log in, you can purchase credits (for issuing the assessments to your athletes) at a discount and distribute the assessments to your athletes through an automated email invitation (you simply need to enter their name and email address). You can track your athletes’ assessment progress, review and print their profile reports. There is also a valuable team composition graph you can use to review your team as a whole and numerous resources to support your understanding and application of the results.

There is no cost to establish your Coach account and you only purchase assessments as needed. As a Coach you can:

• Get a "Coach Login" and personalized Home Page
• Through your login, purchase multiple assessments at a discounted rate
• Distribute the assessments to your athletes through an automated email invitation
• Track their assessment progress
• Send reminders
• Review and print the Athlete Assessments DISC profile reports
